Mr. and Mrs. Guy Breaux of Luling are delighted to announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Amanda Marie Breaux to Mr. Kyle James Thomas Duncan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Duncan Sr., also of Luling.Kyle and Amanda exchanged vows on the evening of Dec. 29, 2007 at the Magnolia Plantation in Harahan.
Amanda is the granddaughter of Lawrence and Barbara Comardelle of McNeill, Miss., the late Oscar Breaux and Priscilla Breaux of Des Allemands.
Kyle is the grandson of Barbara and Jack Duncan of New Brunswick, Canada, Ken and May Johnson of Phoenix, AZ and Joe and Judy Bauer of Alberta, Canada.
Amanda’s sister, Heather Breaux of Luling, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Chasidy Fonseca of Westwego, and Cassandra and Jenessa Duncan of Luling.
Kyle’s brother, T.J. Duncan of Alberta, Canada, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Fred von Westarp of British Columbia, Canada, Matthew Macleod of New Brunswick, Canada and Tim Duncan of Luling.
Mr. Duncan is a 2006 graduate of the University of New Brunswick and is a chemical engineer for Dow Chemical Company.
The couple reside in Luling with the newest edition to their family – their golden retriever named Sydnie.
