Gil, III and Candice Schmidt would like to announce the birth of their son. Caden Michael Schmidt was born on Sept. 15, 2008 at 6:26 a.m.
He weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Olivia and Michael Denoux of Norco.
Paternal grandparents are Gil, Jr. and Mary Schmidt of Destrehan.
