Mimosa Park Elementary celebrated its annual Back-to-School Bash on Aug. 7. First- and second-grade students, along with their parents and caregivers, were invited to meet their new teachers, bring school supplies, return summer reading logs and enjoy complimentary jambalaya. This year, about 400 families attended the event.
