Dear Editor,
First, New York had her “Miracle on the Hudson,” with the world watching as a quick-thinking pilot landed his disabled aircraft.
Next, St. Charles Parish experienced a miracle of our own as a school bus driver skillfully reacted to a life-threatening event. Congratulations to Earl “Pie” Tastet for actions that prevented a bigger tragedy from occurring. Kudos, as well, to emergency responders.
I offer heartfelt condolences to Paula Nazio’s family for their loss and hope that everyone else involved is well.
