As of now, St. Charles Parish Public Schools will remain closed thru Friday. A decision has not been made as to the reopening of schools.
The parish is experiencing massive power outages and we are unaware of when full restoration of power will take place. An assessment will be conducted over the weekend to determine our next steps.
The district will notify all media and will continue to use the Connect-ED phone messaging system,the district’s website, www.stcharles.k12.la.us, and Cable Access Channel 8 to inform parents and employees on the official date of schools reopening.
