Sheriff’s Reports – June 27, 2019

Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Arrests

  • Andreas Jones, 23, of 737 Turtle Creek Lane in St. Rose, was arrested June 19 and charged with simple criminal damage to property. He had an attachment.
  • Jelisa Bourgeois, 27, was arrested June 18 and charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation. He had an attachment.
  • Amanda Harris, 18, of 107 Dees Lane in Luling, was arrested June 18 and charged with enter/remaining after forbidden.
  • Taylor Walsh, 26, of 2500 Richland Ave. in Metairie, was arrested June 17 and charged with illegal window tint, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, suspended driver’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia and expired inspection sticker.
  • Barry Woods, 34, of 707 South Laurel St. in Amite, was arrested June 17 and charged with possession of MDMA, operating vehicle with suspended driver’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia, altered/expired temporary registration, license plate light required, possession of amphetamine and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
  • David Bennett, 30, of 854 Curtis Drive in Kenner, was arrested June 17 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of MDMA, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of amphetamine.
  • Malcolm Banks, 30, of 9502 Spiral Wood Lane in Harris, Texas, was arrested June 18 and charged with obstruction of justice, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Incidents

  • A Meadows Drive residence in Destrehan was burglarized on June 19. Several articles of clothing were stolen.
  • Counterfeit $100 bills were used during a sales transaction at Family Dollar on River Road in St. Rose on June 19.
  • A residence on Bailey St. in Boutte was burglarized on June 17. Two T-shirts, a pair of baby shoes and a box of cream pops was stolen.
  • A package delivered to a victim’s Birch St. address in Luling on June 17 had been opened and the contents removed before the victim retrieved it from the mailbox.
  • A pressure washer was stolen from a victim’s Willard Drive address in Luling on June 17.
