Hahnville High School teacher Jeremy Eusea was arrested again Friday night and faces five new charges for allegedly sexting a 16-year-old student from 2010-2011.
The new charges include computer aided solicitation of a minor, indecent behavior with a juvenile, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, pornography involving juveniles and prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and student.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Eusea sent inappropriate text messages and pictures to the 16-year-old from 2010-2011. Those messages and pictures were sent during and after school, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Eusea, 30, is currently being held at the Nelson Coleman Correction Center without bond.
Eusea, an athletic trainer and educator with Hahnville High School, was first arrested Thursday and booked on charges of sexual battery and prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and student. Those charges stem from inappropriate text messages and pictures Eusea is accused of sending a 17-year-old. The incident also turned physical, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s Office spokesman Capt. Pat Yoes said the sexual battery charge is based on suspected inappropriate physical contact “with sexual arousal or gratification.” Yoes said the alleged incident was not violent.
According to the HHS website, Eusea taught sports medicine and is a certified athletic trainer. He has been a teacher at Hahnville for six years and graduated from Hahnville High School in 2004.
Earlier this year, 26-year-old Destrehan High School teacher Kimberly Naquin was arrested after she was accused of having sex with a female student.
In 2014, Destrehan High School teachers Shelley Dufresne and Rachel Respess were arrested after they were accused of having sex with a student.
