Sheriff’s Office seeking information about man accused of taking cell phone

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for information about a man who accused of taking a Smart Phone forgotten on a counter in local convenience store.

Sheriff’s Office spokesman Pat Yoes said  a customer of a local service station left the phone on the counter after purchasing on Jan. 31.

“The customer realized the phone was left and returned a few minutes later, but the phone gone,” Yoes said.

Store camera footage showed a man took the phone and left the store in a silver coupe, possibly a Chevrolet Cavalier.
