NORCO – The Oldies but Goodies Dance and Social Club will host a Christmas dance on Dec. 19 from 3-8 p.m. at the KC Home in Norco. There will be line dancing from 3-4 p.m. and general dancing for the rest of the night. The cost is $5 per person and while dressing up is encouraged, matching the dance theme is not mandatory. The meal for the dance will be gumbo and potato salad. Participants are asked to bring a side dish, salad or dessert to contribute.
The club will also be hosting a New Year’s Eve dance on Dec. 31 from 8 p.m.-1 a.m. at the KC Home to ring in 2011. The dance will cost $30 per couple and will be BYOL. Music will be performed by Gary “Dr. Music” Matherne and the dinner will include pastalaya, black forest ham, chicken wings, meatballs, cheese, vegetable and fruit trays and cheesecake and other desserts.
