METAIRIE – The Compassionate Friends organization will hold its annual Children’s Memorial Walk on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 10:30 a.m., beginning and ending at the Children’s Memorial Garden located at 3000 Downs Blvd. in Metairie inside Lafreniere Park.
The group invites bereaved families, relatives, friends and the community to join them as they walk to remember all beloved children who have died.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $15. before Sept. 20 and $20 after or on the day of the walk.
