High-powered speakers on tap for insurance ‘boot camp’

Louisiana’s Legislative Women’s Caucus launches its first annual “Boot Camp” on insurance and economic development Jan. 27.

Guest speakers include state insurance commissioner James Donelon, and Michael Olivier, secretary of the economic development.

Also on tap to talk will be out-of-town guests Jim Hartwig, president and chief economist of the Insurance Information Institute, and Joseph Olson, former insurance commissioner of the state of Michigan.

The caucus gets under way at the  New Orleans Marriott Hotel at 8 a.m.

The Marriot is located directly across the street  from the Ernest M. Morial Convention Center.
