CASA volunteer training

LULING – Court Appointed Special Advocate program training for St. Charles volunteers will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1.

Currently there are 20 children in foster care in St. Charles Parish that need someone in their corner. They are waiting for someone who will believe in them, who will not be judgmental and will never give up. The Court Appointed Special Advocate program of Child Advocacy Services needs volunteers to be the voices for abused and neglected children in the community. No special skills required, but a CASA volunteer must make a sincere commitment because the duties are extremely important. Please consider being there for a child.

Call Krisy McAdams at (225) 647-2005 or email to kmcadams@childadv.net to sign up for the training.

The training will be held at the Child Advocacy Services office located 816 Paul Maillard Road in Luling.
