American Legion Post 131 will host a “Mr. Charlie Oubre Jr.” Memorial Blood Drive with the Ochsner Blood Bank 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 103 Milling Ave., Luling. Donors are encouraged to eat a good meal before donating and can donate while taking medications for high blood pressure or cholesterol. Donors must bring a photo ID.
