The American Legion Post 131 in Luling will hold its “Mr. Charlie Oubre Jr.” Memorial Blood Drive on Aug. 3 at the American Legion Hall, 103 Milling Ave., Luling. The blood drive will be held 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Eat a healthy meal prior to donating. Bring a picture ID, and individuals taking medications for high blood pressure and cholesterol can donate. All donors will receive a T-shirt and a meal will be served to all.
