The American Legion Post 83 in Lockport will hold a cancer benefit for Philip Gilligan at the Lockport post on Aug. 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Music will be provided by Waylon Thibodaux, Treater, Aaron Foret, Wayne Foret, Gary T., Ronnie Plaisance, Kenny L. and more.
Special guest appearance by Gary Cargal of the Southern Mamma Comedy Tour. $10 donation requested at the door. A plate lunch will be sold along with deserts and beverages. This is a smoke-free event. No coolers will be allowed. There will be an auction at 3 p.m. and door prizes.
