Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
DESTREHAN – The River Region Drama Guild will hold a series of performances of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” beginning with friends and family opening night on Thursday, June 13 at 6 p.m.
A special large group performace will be held Friday, June 14 a 9 a.m.
Regular showings will be held on Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15 at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee will be held Sunday, June 16 at 2 p.m.
All performances will be held at the Destrehan High School Auditorium at #1 Wildcat Lane in Destrehan.

Free children’s theatre workshop
NORCO -The River Region Drama Guild will hold its Summer Children’s Theatre Workshop on July 23-31 continuing August 1-2 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the River Region Performing Arts and Cultural Center, 15146 River Road in Norco.
The workshop is open to young people grades 5 thru 12 and will be free of charge. Preregistration is not required.
The workshop will focus on ensemble building, trust, observation, self-confidence, concentration, imagination and creativity. The drama guild will introduce the fundamental basics of theater and provide a well-rounded academic, educational experience of drama for all.
Everyone, regardless of ability and experience, will be given an opportunity to be involved. The final evening will be a public performance demonstrating the skills learned in the workshop.
