River Region Drama Guild children’s theater workshop

The River Region Drama Guild recently held a children’s theatre workshop, which culminated with a final performance.

Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of theater.

The workshop focused on teaching stage movement skills, as well as ensemble building, trust, observations, self-confidence, concentration, imagination and creativity.

The participants performed two plays for their final performance including “Stone Soup,” an old Russian folktale, and “Rescuing Cupid” by Amy Green.

Participants in the workshop were Arnav Chinthala, Aryan Chinthala, Kaleigh Barrilleaux, Julia Haslauer, Morgan Roussel, Mary Reinagel, Camryn Swint and Vivienne Ragnone.

The workshop was sponsored by the United Way of St. Charles.
