Even though some experts predicted that drought conditions last year would limit the availability of crawfish early in the season, local seafood dealers say that supply has been exceeding demand in St. Charles Parish.
GRAMERCY – The River Region Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual Crawfish Boil and Super Raffle on Friday, May 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the St. James Welcome Center located at 1094 Highway 61 in Gramercy.
Tickets: $100 admits two people – includes food, soft drinks, beer and a chance to win $10,000 or one of four $1,000 consolation prizes.
Extras include a 50/50 and door prize raffle. Cash bar available for wine and mixed drinks.
