Destrehan senior running back Kevin Smith finished with 185 total yards and scored three touchdowns against Higgins. Included in that total was an 87-yard kickoff return for a TD in the third quarter that ignited his team.

Hahnville – Positon WR
Hahnville junior receiver Kailon Carter had a big touchdown catch with less than two minutes remaining until halftime to put his Tigers up 14-0 against Bonnabel.
Dereck Robinson
Destrehan – Position DL
Destrehan senior defensive end Dereck Robinson had a big game for the Wildcats against Higgins. Robinson finished with six solo tackles, three assists, a tackle for loss and two forced fumbles.
Jerqwinick Sandolph
Hahnville – Position S
Hahnville senior cornerback Jerqwinick Sandolph came through with a clutch fourth quarter interception and returned it 23 yards to the 9-yard line. The Tigers punched it in a play later and put the game away.
