Football

Season update: The spring season ended for the Tigers on Thursday, May 17 with the scrimmage against Rummel High School.

The annual scrimmage was held to find areas of strength and weakness on both offense and defense, as well as to give the players some experience in their positions.

Now all that is left before football camp is weight training and conditioning.

Hot hands: At the scrimmage, Greg Julian ran for 20 yards and had an outstanding performance considering the pre-season match up.

What needed work: “We had a better out come this year than last,” says second string center Sam Collins about the Tiger’s performance on Thursday.

Collins also stated that both offense and defense did very well.

Up next: Weight training is all that is on the calendar for the Tigers this summer.

Volleyball

Season update: Because of final exams and early releases, the Lady Tiger volleyball team didn’t have much action this week.

But starting in early June, the Tigers will be hitting the weights to condition for upcoming camps and scrimmage games.

Up next: At the end of June, the Lady Tigers will have a camp led by the Ole Miss volleyball coaches.

Basketball

Season update: Also set back by finals, the basketball team limits their schedule to more conditioning.

They are anticipating a good summer season as they play in the summer league to stay on top of their game.

Up next: In mid July the boys and girls teams are anticipating a good turn-out for their basketball camp at the HHS gym. There, players will learn all phases of the game and be grouped by age, gender and talent level.

Girls Basketball

Season update: The Lady Tigers are getting ready to start weight training and conditioning for their college exposure camps. After the hype from school ending is over, they will get down to business and work on getting all players some time on the court.
