The Hahnville Lady Tigers crushed East St. John 13-0 last week, with every senior player managing to score a goal.
“The team was filled with emotions after the girls were presented for senior salute night,” head coach Shaun Crochet said. “They went out and played their hearts out. “Every senior on the team scored a goal.”
Scoring for the Lady Tigers were seniors Ashley Hartman with three goals, Annie Kinler with three goals, Jessica Hartman with two goals, Jessica Donnaud with two goals and Courtney Speice with one goal, Sophomore Jessica St. Pierre also had a goal, as did junior Arden Robert.
Goalies Alyssa Fournier and Kristal Breaux split time at the position and helped preserve the shutout.
Defenders Claire Crutti, Kayleigh Mayeaux, Marissa Aucoin, and Jordan Laurent set-up a strong defensive line when the Lady Wildcats crossed midfield.
“This keeps Hahnville in third place going into the last week of district play,” Crochet said. “We would host a playoff game at Hahnville if we win out in our last district games next week.”
