The Hahnville High School Hi-Steppers dance team excelled at the “American All-Star Dance Camp” held at Nicholls State University.The dance team achieved the following “American All-Star Dance Camp” awards:
•Home Routine Large Team Competition – Superior
•Show Routine Large Team Competition – Superior
•Judge’s Award
•Camp Champ Award – 1st Runner Up
In addition, eleven Hi-Steppers were chosen for the “American All-Stars Team” and invited to perform in Madrid, Spain. They are Tramera Lee, Carley Faucheux, Andre Romero, Bethany Branson, Shelli Brou, Alyssa Loup, Taylor Petit, Heather Valdin, Heather Mills, Angelica Walton, and Lydia Chiasson.
Members of the 2009-2010 Hi-Steppers include Courtney Bergeron, Lillie Bourgeois, Bethany Branson, Shelli Brou, Taylor Campbell, Alissa Cavaretta, Kaci Cazenave, Lydia Chiasson, Victoria Daigle, Carley Faucheux (Co-Captain), Taylor Faucheux, Sarah Gonzales, Bailie Guidry, Marigny Landry, Marissa Landry, Tramera Lee (Captain), Briana Locascio, Alyssa Loup, Heather Mills, Brittany Nichols, Kaylin Parker, Taylor Petit, Kate Prendergast, Felicity Prosperie, Andre Romero (Lieutenant), Markeya Scott, Heather Valdin, Megan Vaughn, and Angelica Walton.
