St. Charles Catholic School in LaPlace will host it’s annual “Fly High, Shine Bright, Cheer Loud” cheerleader mini camp June 8 through 12 from 9 a.m. to noon at the high school located at 100 Dominican Dr. in LaPlace.
Campers will learn cheers, chants, basic stunts and will have a dance throughout the week. Performance for parents will be on Friday at 10 a.m. Registration forms may be obtained from the school or from the Web site at www.scc-comets.com. Cost is $40, which includes a T-shirt and snacks.
A Starstepper’s mini dance camp, “Stars Rule the World,” is set for Monday June 22 through Friday, June 26 from 9 a.m to noon each day at the school.
The campers will have a dance technique class every morning and learn a jazz, kick, prop and character dance throughout the week. Registration forms may be obtained from the school or from the Web site at www.scc-comets.com. Registration fee is $40 which also includes T-shirt and refreshments each day.
Make checks payable to SCC Starsteppers. Late registration will be accepted for both camps on the first day for an additional $5.
