Arrests

•Kyle M. Vanvoorhis, 28, of 23 Myrtle Hill Drive in Destrehan, was arrested on June 3 and charged with DWI, reckless operation and operating under suspension.

•Cathy Tarver, 55, of 18246 Creek Hollow in Baton Rouge, was arrested on June 3 and charged with DWI, improper control of vehicle, approaching emergency vehicle and open container.

•Morris Paul Jr., 44, of 364 2nd St. in St. Rose, was arrested on June 3 and charged with aggravated arson.

•Ashley A. Montz, 33, of 550 N. Garyville St. in Garyville, was arrested on June 4 and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a schedule II drug.

•James Knight, 17, of 249 Murray Hill Drive in Destrehan, was arrested on June 1 and charged with simple burglary.

•Josue Fonseca, 19, of 245 Murray Hill Drive in Destrehan, was arrested on June 1 and charged with simple burglary.

•Arturo Aguilar, 39, of 236 Megan St. in Luling, was arrested on June 2 and charged with theft of a firearm.

•Timothy Williams, 37, of 1258 Paul Maillard Road in Luling, was arrested on June 5 and charged with theft of a motor vehicle over $500, child desertion, not seatbelt in use, child restraint required, resist arrest by flight and resist officer by force/violence.

•Leslie Johnson, 67, of 1809 Sugar Ridge in LaPlace, was arrested on June 5 and charged with DWI, aggravated obstruction of highway and obscenity.

•Leonard Wicker, 26, of 64422 Wicker Lane in Roseland, was arrested on June 6 and charged with schedule I possession of a controlled dangerous substance and not having a headlamp.Thefts

•Three rims and tires were stolen off of a vehicle in front of 203 East Club Drive in St. Rose on June 1.

•An air compressor and push mower were stolen from 520 Oak St. in St. Rose on May 30.

•A wire mesh trash can was stolen from 16302 River Road in Norco on May 29.

•A portable restroom was stolen from 16302 River Road in Norco on May 30.

•A X-Box and two pairs of tennis shoes were stolen from 262 Meadows Drive in Destrehan on May 31.

•A stereo system was stolen out of a vehicle parked in front of 519 Kinler St. in Luling.

•A vehicle was broken into at 109 Manor Road in Boutte on June 7.

•A Playstation, Madden 2010 video game, $25 and several CDs w3ere stolen from 184 S. Kinler St. in Boutte.

•A vehicle was damaged due to attempted theft at 112 Allison Drive in Luling on June 5.

•A vehicle had the lock punched in and steering column broken at 308 River Oaks in Luling.

•A steering column on a vehicle was broken during a theft attempt at 200 Wade St. in Luling.
