Arrests

  • Jose Lopez, 27, of 14337 Old Spanish Trail in Paradis, was arrested April 18 and charged with DWI (first offense), reckless operation of a vehicle and driving without a license.
  • William Vortisch, 51, of 711 Gerry Drive in Kenner, was arrested April 18 and charged with DWI (first offense and failure to maintain proper control of vehicle.
  • Jeremy Wise, 27, of 519 Frisco Drive in LaPlace, was arrested April 16 and charged with resisting arrest by force, DWI (first offense), hit and run and reckless operation of a vehicle.
  • Kevin Eiermann, 30, of 125 Pitre Drive in St. Rose, was arrested April 15 and charged with failure to renew registration, possessing false certificate, suspended driver’s license, failure to have required insurance, possession with intent to distribute marijuana (17.9 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was a fugitive.
  • Christopher Gul, 31, of 125 Janet Drive in St. Rose, was arrested April 15 and charged with illegal use of drugs in presence of someone under 17.
  • Tia Walker, 24, of 7209 W. Tameron Blvd. in New Orleans, was arrested April 16 and charged with failure to dim high beams, possession of a legend drug (naxproxen pills), possession of marijuana (third offense) and possession of a firearm with a CDS.
  • Kyran Davillier, 20, of 2124 Colonial Drive in LaPlace, was arrested April 16 and charged with expired registration, expired MVI sticker and possession of marijuana (third offense). He was a fugitive.
  • Romain Joseph, 40, of 302 River Oaks Drive in Destrehan, was arrested April 16 and charged with tail lamps required, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana (third offense), suspended driver’s license. He was a fugitive.
  • Christopher Jones, 31, of 17965 River Road in Killona, was arrested April 17 and charged with speeding, turn signals/stop lights required, driver not licensed, flight from officer, possession of marijuana (first offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was a fugitive from another agency.
  • Samuel Bryant, 41, of 247 Terrace St. in New Sarpy, was arrested April 15 and charged with interference with child custody.
  • Eric Rockweiler was arrested April 18 and charged with simple battery and principle to robbery.
  • Darrell Edwards, 55, of 1148 Boutte Estates Drive in Luling, was arrested April 17 and charged with domestic abuse battery and cruelty to the infirmed.
  • Kevin Richardson, 23, of 16641 Old Spanish Trail in Des Allemands, was arrested April 16 and charged with simple criminal damage to property.
  • Jose Mendez, 27, of 63 Bonura Drive in St. Rose, was arrested April 17 and charged with aggravated assault and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
  • Juhntel Savage, 27, of 200 Boutte Estates Drive in Boutte, was arrested April 16 and charged with shoplifting goods valued less than $500 and criminal trespassing.
  • Jamal Perrilloux, 28, of 258 East 27th St. in Reserve, was arrested April 16 and charged with failure to have two working headlamps, failure to dim high beam, license suspended and monetary instrument abuse.
  • Wilfred Westley, 43, of 2428 Cambridge Drive in LaPlace, was arrested April 19 and charged with DWI (first offense), suspended driver’s license and failure to maintain proper control of vehicle.
  • Lance Brock, 20, of 1853 Cinclair Loop in LaPlace, was arrested April 20 and charged with speeding, suspended driver’s license, resisting an officer by refusing to provide ID, possession of a Schedule IV drug (Tramadol).
  • Rene Johnson, 29, of 811 Vouray St. in Kenner, was arrested April 20 and charged with distribution of heroin.
  • Anthony Daniel, 67, of 1112 Jones Lane in Luling, was arrested April 21 and charged with possession with intent to distribute over 28 grams (“crack”) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Shelita White, 23, of 202 East Road in Norco, was arrested April 21 and charged with theft of a motor vehicle valued $1,500 or more.

Thefts

  • An IPhone 5s was stolen from a home located on Wildcat Lane in Destrehan on April 14.
  • A diamond tennis necklace, two diamond cross pendants and $750 in U.S. currency were stolen from a home located on River Road in Luling on April 15.
  • A credit card was fraudulently opened under the name of a victim who resides on Dianne Drive of St. Rose, with charges of $900 made, on April 16.
  • An unknown subject threw an orange road cone into the side of a victim’s vehicle, causing damage, on Dunleith Drive in Destrehan on April 17.
  • A victim had approximately $791 in unauthorized purchases charged to her banking card on April 8.
  • A 2014 white-colored Chevrolet Silverado was stolen from the parking lot of an apartment complex located on Summerton Drive in St. Rose on April 9.
  • A set of Taylormade golf clubs, a golf bag and other golf-related accessories were taken from inside a residence on Belle Grove Drive in Destrehan on April 10.
  • A husband and wife who reside on Belle Grove Drive in Destrehan discovered someone opened credit card accounts using their information and made numerous purchases on April 10.
  • An I-Phone 6S was stolen from 112 St. Rose Ave. in St. Rose on April 11.
  • A residence was broken into and two Akita dogs were stolen from a home on West Lawson St. in New Sarpy on April 21.
  • A wallet was stolen from a vehicle parked on Laura Lane in Destrehan on April 21.
  • A large sum of money, checks and miscellaneous paperwork was stolen from a vehicle parked on Laura Lane on April 21.
  • $30 was stolen from a vehicle parked on Gabrielle Lane in Destrehan on April 21.
  • A 14-foot boat powered by a 25 HP Mercury outboard engine was stolen from a victim’s Bayou Road home in Des Allemands on April 20. The boat was recovered but the motor was missing.
