Arrests

• Jose Perez, 32, of 42030 Majestic Hunter Ave. in Prairieville, was arrested April 9 and charged with aggravated flight from an officer, DWI (first offense), reckless operation, driving in wrong lane for traffic, driving on a divided highway, driver not licensed, failure to utilize traffic control signal and driving with high beam headlights.
• Roland Ladreyt Jr., 33, of 39 Dunleith Drive in Destrehan, was arrested April 9 and charged with reckless operation, hit and run driving (four counts), open alcohol container and DWI (first offense).
• Dymond West, 20, of 1273 North Foster Drive in Baton Rouge, was arrested April 10 and charged with DWI (first offense), possession of marijuana (first offense), failure to maintain proper control of vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Corey Degruy, 25, of 18180 River Road in Montz, was arrested April 11 and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of schedule II drug (Vicodin), possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana over 14 grams and possession of a firearm with a CDS.
• Richard Williams, 23, of 2509 S. Johnson Street in New Orleans, was arrested April 10 and charged with failure to maintain proper control of vehicle, driving with license suspended, false inspection sticker, driving with no insurance, illegal possession of stolen things and possession of MDMA (Ecstacy).
• Ernest Gray, 21, of 4104 Old Miss Drive in Kenner, was arrested April 8 and charged with possession of marijuana, firearm in presence of CDS, possession of paraphernalia and failure to maintain proper control of vehicle.
• Howard Sevin, 35, of 207 Judith St. in Chauvin, was arrested April 8 and charged with theft of between $750 and $5,000.
• Edward Bealer, 18, of 119 Roseland Drive in Luling, was arrested April 10 and charged with shoplifting goods valued less than $500.
• Heather Ballam, 22, of 635 West B Street in Norco, was arrested April 8 and charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.
• Lakena Kennedy, 27, of 212 Coretta Drive in Avondale, was arrested April 11 and charged with theft of items valued between $5,000 and $25,000.
• Joy-in Cockerham, 24, of 236 Mockingbird Lane in St. Rose, was arrested April 11 and charged with obstruction of justice and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
• Bianca Pierre, 24, of 2418 Gardere Lane in Baton Rouge, was arrested April 11 and charged with driving on roadway lane for traffic and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
• Jason Hicks, 37, was arrested April 12 and charged with theft up to $750. He was a fugitive.
• Sherry Chandler, 32, of 14215 Hwy. 90 in Boutte, was arrested April 12 and charged with hit and run and reckless operation. She has two SCSO attachments.
• Trontez Simmons, 26, of 137 Sharon Ave. in Boutte, was arrested April 13 and charged with aggravated battery and simple robbery.
• Michael Foster, 36, of 130 Kennedy St. in St. Rose, was arrested April 12 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a schedule II drug (cocaine).
