Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
Arrests
• Elwynn Sims, 23, of 3908 Pirogue in Gonzales, was arrested June 17 and charged with reckless operation with accident, hit and run driving with injury, traffic violation and aggravated flight from an officer.
• Jarret Marshall, 39, of 117 Lake Ridge Drive in LaPlace, was arrested June 18 and charged with traffic violation and possession of firearm/carry concealed weapon by convicted felon.
• Kenny Aragon Jr., 40, of 1428 Paul Fredrick Street in Luling, was arrested June 18 and charged with possession of marijuana and domestic abuse – aggravated assault.
• Marietta Byerly, 50, of 14665 Old Spanish Trail in Des Allemands, was arrested June 13 and charged with obstruction of justice – evidence tampering.
• Dorothy Kahin, 57, of 636 Turtleneck Lane in St. Rose, was arrested June 14 and charged with reckless operation with accident, possession of marijuana, unauthorized entry of a critical infrastructure and DWI.
• Kerry Brashears, 32, of 2120 Westbend Parkway in New Orleans, was arrested June 16 and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of firearms/carry concealed weapon by convicted felon, illegal carrying of weapon in presence of CDS, possession or distribution of drug paraphernalia and distribution or manufacture of cocaine. He was a fugitive (three counts).
• Jose Suero-Jimenez, 62, of 1821 Bel Aire Avenue in Orlando, was arrested June 17 and charged with reckless operation without accident, traffic violation, possession or distribution of drug paraphernalia and DWI.
• Michael Savoie, 61, of 14661 Old Spanish Trail in Paradis, was arrested June 17 and charged with possession of marijuana, traffic violation and possession or distribution of drug paraphernalia. He was a fugitive with an attachment.
• Kenny Aragon Jr., 40, of 1428 Paul Fredrick Street in Luling, was arrested June 18 and charged with possession of marijuana and domestic abuse aggravated assault.
• Charley Krause, 39, of 14345 Old Spanish Trail in Paradis, was arrested June 19 and charged with reckless operation without accident, DWI and possession or distribution of drug paraphernalia.
• Luther Oliver, 22, of 502 Karla Drive in Thibodaux, was arrested June 13 and charged with possession with intent to distribute MDMA.
• Jeffrey Encar, 50, of 46440 Rufus Bankston Road in Hammond, was arrested June 14 and charged with possession of methamphetamine, reckless operation without accident and traffic violation.
