Arrests

•Ashley R. Benensky, 17, of 105 Zachary Dr. in Boutte was arrested on Sept. 12 on Hwy 90 in Luling and charged with possession of a schedule two controlled dangerous substance to wit crack cocaine. Benensky was stopped for suspicious drug activity and further investigation revealed the subject to be in possession of crack cocaine.

•Barbara Alley, of 2007 Senator St. in Mobile, Ala. was arrested on Sept. 13 at Nelson Colemen Correctional Center and charged with theft of stolen property over $500. Alley was arrested on a warrant that was issued on Aug. 23 for the above charge.

•Charles Alley, 23, of 2007 Senator St. in Mobile Ala. was arrested on Sept. 13 at Nelson Colemen Correctional Center and charged with theft of stolen property over $500. Alley was arrested on a warrant that was issued on Aug. 23 for the above charge.

•James A. Heusler, 49, 7800 Wilson St. in Harahan was arrested on Sept. 8 at 521 Almedia Rd. in St. Rose and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possesssion of Hydrocodone, possession of Valium, possession of Welbutrin, possession of drug paraphernalia, disturbing the peace by intoxication.

•Darryl Gilbert, 30, of Luling was arrested on Sept. 15 in the 1400 block of Paul Frederick and charged with possession of marijuana, no turn signal, non-visible license plate, no driver’s license, no seatbelt and a St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office attachment.

•Carlos Guerre, 24, of 21 Bonura Dr. in St. Rose was arrested on Sept. 17 at 106 Bonura Dr. and charged with indecent behavoir with a juvenile.

•Jane D. Heusler, 46, 616 Mary Lane in River Ridge was arrested on Sept. 8 at 512 Almedia Rd. in St. Rose and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, disturbing the peace by intoxication.

•Leona Issac, 17, of 1238 Paul Fredrick St. in Luling was arrested on Sept. 9 in the 1200 block of Paul Fredrick St. and charged with aggravated battery. Issac was arrested following an altercation with a 10-year-old juvenile. During the altercation, Issac allegedly cut him on his finger with a knife.

•Sharmain Alexis Matthew, 19, of 3540 Kent St. in New Orleans was arrested on Sept. 15 at 200 Tiger Dr. in Boutte and charged with aggravated battery, two counts of battery on a police officer and resisting an officer.

•Rudoplh Polly, 36, of 2556 Joy Ann Dr. in Marrero was arrested on Sept. 16 on LA 52 at Canal Street in Luling and charged with improper equipment, no driver’s license, possession of a schedule three narcotic to wit Hydrocodone, possession of a schedule four narcotic to wit Xanax and on a Jefferson Parish attachment.

•Leonard Robertson, 24, of 316 Boutte Estates in Boutte was arrested on Sept. 15 in the 1400 block of Paul Frederick in Luling and charged with possession of Marijuana, no seatbelt, open container and on an Jefferson Parish attachment.

•Rodney Smith, 39, of 461 4th St. in St. Rose was arrested on Sept. 11 and charged with two counts of animal cruelty. Smith was arrested on a warrant that was issued on Aug. 28 for the above charges.

•John R. Tyler, 28, of 17305 U.S. 90 in Des Allemands was arrested on Sept. 8 and charged with nine counts of pornography involving a juvenile. Tyler was arrested after officers executed a search of a computer he had rented. During the search of the computer officers located several child pornography images. He is being held on $75,000 bond.

•Ira Zeringue, 26, of 118 Antoine Lane in Luling was arrested on Sept. 12 on Hwy 90 in Luling and charged with possession of a schedule two controlled dangerous substance to wit crack cocaine, possession of a shedule one controlled dangerous aubstance to wit marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Benensky was stopped for suspicious drug activity and further investigation revealed the subject to be in possession of crack cocaine.
 
DWI

•Percy W. Brown Jr., 52, of 443 Smith St. in Hahnville was arrested on Sept.9 on Bird Lane in Hahnville and charged with DWI, open container, no driver’s license and no turn signal.

•Fredrick Shields Jr., 29, of 141 Madeline Ct. Lot #16 in LaPlace was arrested on Sept. 11 heading east bound on I-10 and charged with DWI and passing vehicles on the shoulder.

Johnnie L. Shields, 33, of 117 Richlieu Circle in Kaplan was arrested on Sept. 11 at 1057 LA 52 in Luling and charged with DWI, reckless operation, vehicular negligent injuring, first degree vehicular negligent injuring, illegal possession of stolen things, possession of a controlled dangerous substance to wit cocaine and possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

•Stephen T. Simon III, of 112 Luke St. in Des Allemands was arrested on Sept. 16 at the intersection of LA 306 and Grand Bayou Road in Des Allemands and charged with DWI and speeding 91 mph in a 50 mph zone.
 
Thefts

A CD player, an amplifier, assorted CDs and two 12 inch woofers in a speaker box, valued at $2350, was stolen from 312 Post St. in Luling on Sept. 11.

•An AM/FM stereo, valued at $200, was stolen from 406 Almedia Rd. in St. Rose on Sept. 11.

•A bicycle, valued at $300, was stolen from 12807 U.S. 90 in Luling on Sept. 14.

•A bicycle, valued at $100, was stolen from 172 Keller St. in Hahnville on Sept. 14.

•A generator and a pressure washer, valued at $1150, were stolen from 135A Lakewood Dr. in Luling on Sept. 14.

•A tractor, valued at $5,000, was stolen from 222 Barton Ave. in Luling on Sept. 14.

•A digital card and a five in one reader, valued at $62, was stolen from a vehicle located at 114 Evergreen Court in Luling on Sept. 16.

•An X-Box video game machine, four PlayStation games and three X-Box games, valued at $620. were stolen from 12807 Hwy 90 in Luling on Sept. 17.

•A trolling motor, valued at $500, was stolen from a boat at 112 Evergreen Court in Luling on Sept. 16.

•A trolling motor, valued at $600, was stolen from 114 Evergreen Court in Luling on Sept. 16.
