Arrests

•Cedric Martin, 37, of 8 Sycamore Lane in St. Rose was arrested on May 20 and charged with theft valued at $12,768 and engaging in business of contracting without authority.

•Trey N. Tucker, 22, of 121 Peach St. in Hahnville was arrested on May 18 and charged with simple burglary.

•Paul J. Dugas, 32, of 58 Matis Dr. in Hahnville was arrested on May 18 and charged with simple burglary.

•Christopher Matis, 19, of 121 Peach St. in Hahnville was arrested on May 28 and charged with simple burglary.

•Rene’ K. Gelsomino, 50, of 121 Ivy Court in Luling was arrested on May 18 and charged with two counts of forgery and monetary instrument abuse.

Theft

•A portable navigation system, valued at $199, was stolen from 85 Carriage Lane in Destrehan on May 18.

•A car battery and pad lock, valued at $140, was stolen from the 400 block of Magnolia Ridge Rd. in Boutte on May 18.

•A cell phone, valued at $350, was stolen from 200 Tiger Dr. in Boutte on May 19.
