Arrests

  • Gary Berel Jr., 26, of 47 Sandpiper Road in LaPlace, was arrested Nov. 4 and charged with DWI (2nd offense) and reckless operation of a vehicle.
  • Milo Young, 70, of 110 Romes Lane in Grand Isle, was arrested Nov. 13 and charged with DWI and reckless operation of a vehicle.
  • Joaen Hebert, 32, of 145 Ehret Place in Marrero, was arrested Nov. 13 and charged with DWI and failure to maintain proper control of vehicle.
  • Ralph Gambino, 56, of 4301 NW 12th St. in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., was arrested Nov. 9 and charged with theft up to $500.
  • Corey Champagne, 20, of 37045 Mill Park Road in Gonzales, was arrested Nov. 9 and charged with principle to armed robbery.
  • Casey Spies, 31, of 203 Warwick St. in LaPlace, was arrested Nov. 9 and charged with disturbing the peace by cursing/noise/sound and threatening a public official.
  • Jared Bell, 25, of 52 Winfred Drive in Waggaman, was arrested Nov. 9 and charged with violation of probation/parole.
  • Christopher Mitchell, 30, of 250 Schoolhouse Rd. in Killona, was arrested Nov. 13 and charged with domestic abuse battery with pregnant victim.
  • Romel Sadaiappen, 43, of 460 St. Charles St. in Norco, was arrested Nov. 10 and charged with violation of protection order (3rd offense), violation of protection order (2nd offense) and violation of protection order (first offense).
  • Odell Pugh, 57, of 224 Congress St. in New Orleans, was arrested Nov. 12 and charged with theft up to $750.
  • Bruno Simoneaux, 41, of 189 Marks St. in Ama, was arrested Nov. 10 and charged with theft up to $750 (two counts).
  • Jordan McWilliams, 26, of 1 Edgewood Drive in Destrehan, was arrested Nov. 10 and charged with simple criminal damage #500-$50,000 and domestic abuse child endangerment.
  • Brad Dufresne, 30, of 17341 LA 631 Des Allemands, was arrested Nov. 10 and charged with simple burglary. He had an attachment.
  • Rydell Washington, 32, of 1202 Paul Fredrick St. in Luling, was arrested Nov. 12 and charged with obstruction of justice. He had an attachment.
  • Raven Baptiste, 21, of 200 Boutte Estates Drive in Boutte, was arrested Nov. 12 and charged with obstruction of justice.
  • Darryl Spears, 21, of 602 East Club Drive in St. Rose, was arrested Nov. 11 and charged with domestic abuse strangulation and was a fugitive from another agency.
  • Roushel Pitts, 27, of 117 Paul Fredrick St. in Luling, was arrested Nov. 11 and charged with aggravated assault and domestic abuse battery.
  • Brian Thompson, 23, of 1117 Paul Fredrick St. in Luling, was arrested Nov. 11 and charged with violation of protective order.
  • Nicholas Larocca III, 23, of 589 Fairview Drive in Berwick, was arrested Nov. 13 and charged with motor vehicle needs two headlamps, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana (3rd offense), possession of Schedule IV drugs and possession of Schedule II drugs.

Incidents

  • A tail light was taken from a 2005 Chevrolet car parked on Good Children St. in Boutte on Nov. 13.
  • A 55-inch flat screen television and a Playstation 3 gaming system was taken from inside a victim’s vehicle parked on Hahn St. in Hahnville on Nov. 11.
  • A window was broken at a residence located on Rosedale Drive in Destrehan on Nov. 12. The victim heard a loud pop and observed a group of juveniles fleeing down the street.
  • A residence located on Panther Run Drive in Destrehan was burglarized on Nov. 10. Several television sets were taken.
