Arrests

• Sherman Bailey, 52, of 859 East Easy St. in New Sarpy, was arrested Aug. 8 and charged with terrorizing and threatening a public official.
• Shelia Brown, 55, of 505 South Kinler St. in Boutte, was arrested Aug. 8 and charged with theft valued at $750 – $5,000. She had two attachments.
• Breion Washington, 21, of 525 Mockingbird Lane in St. Rose, was arrested Aug. 5 and charged with issuing worthless checks $100 to $499.
• Tiffany Justice, 33, of 125 Kinler Road in Des Allemands, was arrested Aug. 5 and charged with felony contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
• James Jackson, 42, of 87 Boutte Estates Drive in Boutte, was arrested Aug. 9 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, use of a firearm with a CDS and felony carrying of an illegal weapon.
• Kenneth Nelson, 24, of 640 Mockingbird Lane in St. Rose, was arrested Aug. 10 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of crack cocaine, operating a vehicle with suspension, disregarding stop sign, felony carrying of illegal weapon, possession of stolen firearm, use of a firearm with CDS and contraband in correctional center.
• Wesley Pherigo, 30 of 14665 Old Spanish Trail in Paradis, was arrested Aug. 10 and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent — drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer. He was a fugitive.
• Lindsey Landry, 34, of 504 Lauve Lane in Luling, was arrested Aug. 8 and charged with possession of marijuana (first offense), possession of paraphernalia and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
• Jeffrey Ryan, 35, of 202 Bradwall Street in Luling, was arrested Aug. 8 and charged with possession of marijuana (first offense), possession of paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, driver’s license suspended and vehicle headlamp required. He had an attachment.
• Cody Beard, 23, of 550 West McAdoo St. in New Sarpy, was arrested Aug. 7 and charged with possession of marijuana (third offense) and possession of paraphernalia.
