Arrests
- Christine Stewart, 65, of 203 Deadwood Road in Gibson, was arrested June 20 and charged with possession of marijuana (first offense) and possession of alprazolam. She is also charged with two counts of being a fugitive from another agency.
- John Landry, 59, of 195 Rachel Lane in Des Allemands, was arrested June 20 and charged with filing false public records (four counts) and conspiracy to file false records (four counts).
- Timothy Paul, 37, of 124 Croche Lane in Des Allemands, was arrested June 20 and charged with violation of a protection order.
- Jamie Hymel, 39, of 525 Barreca St. in Norco, was arrested June 20 and charged with second-degree murder.
- Roderick Hackett, 40, of 2739 Jasper St. in Kenner, was arrested June 20 and charged with second-degree murder.
- Trey Ferguson, 31, of 1858 Destiny Lane in Marianna, Fla., was arrested June 22 and charged with DWI (first offense) and failure to maintain proper control of vehicle.
- Willie Carr, 35, of 522 Myers Lane in Marrero, was arrested June 21 and charged with failure to complete registration as a sex offender.
- Christy Brown, 41, of 114 Woodland Court in Boutte, was arrested June 21 and charged with aggravated battery.
- John Barnes Jr., 71, of 925 Paul Fredrick St. in Luling, was arrested June 22 and charged with theft up to $750.
Incidents
- A crucifix and gold chain was stolen from a vehicle parked on the 900 block of Ormond Blvd. in Destrehan on June 20.
- Change and a gold chain were missing from three vehicles that rummaged through. The vehicles were parked on the 200 block of Ormond Blvd. in Destrehan on June 20.
- Batteries were stolen from two tractors used to cut grass on the parish levees on June 20. The value of the batteries was totaled at approximately $300.
- The driver’s side front and rear tire of a victim’s vehicle was flattened on June 22.
- A victim reported the theft of a package delivered to a residence located on the 600 block of Mockingbird Lane in St. Rose on June 23.
