Arrests

  • Howard Kraemer, 59, of 105 Arlington Park Drive in Montz, was arrested June 14 and charged with domestic abuse strangulation.
  • Jkayla Celestine, 20, of 827 Milling Ave. in Luling, was arrested June 14 and charged with aggravated assault and simple criminal damage $500-$5,000.
  • Chad Bettencourt, 24, of 213 Bethany Drive in Luling, was arrested June 10 and charged with violation of protective order.
  • Dwayne Jones, 18, of 121 Jenny Court in Montz, was arrested June 10 and charged with theft of a motor vehicle valued $500 and $1,500 and simple burglary.
  • Mark Young, 21, of 312 E. Club Drive in St. Rose, was arrested June 12 and charged with domestic abuse battery, domestic abuse child endangerment and domestic abuse strangulation.
  • Chanda Dupre, 24, of 122 Edna Drive in Des Allemands, was arrested June 8 and charged with use of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of marijuana (first offense), marijuana distribution and possession of drug paraphernalia. She had two attachments.
  • Blake Weber, 21, of 231 Murray Hill Drive, was arrested June 13 and charged with simple burglary and theft up to $750.
  • Dante Doublet, 18, of 108 Matherne Drive in Des Allemands, was arrested June 13 and charged with burglary.
  • Aiden Smith, 18, of 135 Pleasant Valley Drive in Des Allemands, was arrested June 13 and charged with burglary.
  • Ryan Rayburn, 31, of 226 Ormond Meadows Drive in Destrehan, was arrested June 13 and charged with DWI, open container in vehicle, Schedule III drugs (suboxone) and simple obstruction of a highway.
  • Gerald Smith, 57, of 102 13th St. in Reserve, was arrested June 12 and charged with shoplifting less than $500, possessing contraband in correctional center and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Kenneth McKinney, 22, of 9998 Sunnydale Drive in LaPlace, was arrested June 11 and charged with tail lamps, driver not licensed, possession with intent to distribute (marijuana) and drug paraphernalia.
  • Erin Nelson, 37, of 135 Michael St. in Ama, was arrested June 15 and charged with conspiracy to possess or distribute Schedule I, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, MDMA possession, illegal use of CDS in presence of someone under the age of 17 and use of a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance.
  • Brent Woodruff, 34, of 14665 LA 631 in Paradis, was arrested June 17 and charged with disregarding stop sign, possession with intent to sell Schedule III (Suboxone) and possession of Schedule II by fraud.
  • Tonyelle Isaac, 29, of 1220 LA 52 in Luling, was arrested June 17 and charged with shoplifting goods.
  • Anitra Myles, 40, of 123 Gassen St. in Luling, was arrested June 17 and charged with principal to theft.
  • Jessica Jackson, 35, of 121 Lakewood Drive in Luling, was arrested June 19 and charged with worthless checks between $100 and $499.
  • Lamar Marshall, 25, of 308 Schoolhouse Road in Killona, was arrested June 19 and charged with resisting officer force and aggravated battery. He had two attachments.
  • Melissa Perreana, 35, of 111 Avenue E in Metairie, was arrested June 19 and charged with unauthorized entry into an inhabited dwelling.
  • Oscar Hernandez, 30, of 1810 Oxley Drive in Kenner, was arrested June 18 and charged with DWI (first offense) and no driver’s license.
  • Kristen Copley, 29, of 11555 Southfork Drive in Baton Rouge, was arrested June 17 and charged with DWI (first), reckless operation of a vehicle, operating vehicle while suspended, display of false license and fugitive from another agency.

Incidents

  • The engine hoods were taken from two tractors parked in a field near Vans Lane in New Sarpy on June 14.
  • A victim received a telephone call from someone claiming to represent Entergy on June 10. The caller informed the victim that if he did not pay a $498.12 bill that the power would be turned off. The victim paid the alleged bill via a reloadable money card. After paying the bill, the victim realized he had been victimized by a scam and reported the incident to police.
  • A vehicle was burglarized on the 800 block of Apple St. in Norco on June 12.
  • Electrical wire was stolen from an open home under construction on Angel Drive on June 11.
  • A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked on the 300 block of West Harding St. in New Sarpy on June 13.
  • The Bible Center Church on Barton Ave. was burglarized on June 13 and U.S. currency, sound system equipment and keys were stolen.
  • A shed at a home located on the 200 block of First Street in Des Allemands was entered and a dirt bike valued at approximately $1,000 was stolen on June 11.
  • The driver seat rear window of a vehicle parked on the 800 block of Milling Ave. in Luling was shattered on June 10.
  • Someone entered a shed at Ormond Plantation and took a gas-powered backpack leaf-blower and weed eater on June 15.
