Arrests

  • Dashone Hollis, 30, of 539 Kinler St. in Boutte, was arrested May 3 and charged with resisting an officer, obstruction of justice, possession with intent to distribute MDMA (ecstacy), possession with intent to distribute Schedule II (cocaine), reckless operation of a vehicle, hit and run driving, driver not licensed, no liability insurance and aggravated criminal damage to property.
  • Julio Rosales, 28, of 2233 Suwanee Drive in Marrero, was arrested May 2 and charged with speeding, no driver’s license, possession of Schedule II (cocaine) and open container.
  • Neal Fifi, 29, of 2149 17th St. in Kenner, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of Schedule II, possession of Schedule IV, possession of firearm with CDS and simple criminal damage.
  • Kelvin Nicholas, 48, of 113 Devon Road in LaPlace, was arrested May 4 and charged with DWI (first offense), open container and speeding.
  • Lionel Brown, 63, of 539 South Kinler Street in Boutte, was arrested May 3 and charged with criminal abandonment.
  • Daishine Miller, 17, of 743 Mockingbird Lane in St. Rose, was arrested May 2 and charged with disturbing the peace by fighting and aggravated battery.
  • Daniel Beckley, 40, of 2614 Phoenix St. in Kenner, was arrested May 2 and charged with second degree murder and obstruction of justice.
  • Maurice Smith, 35, of 162 East Oakland Drive in St. Rose, was arrested April 29 and charged with domestic abuse child endangerment and second degree battery.
  • Marshall Yale, 25, of 203 Post St. in Killona, was arrested April 30 and charged with domestic abuse by strangulation.
  • Jamal Scott, 30, of 532 Kinler St. in Boutte, was arrested April 29 and charged with simple robbery (two counts), theft of items up to $750. He was a fugitive.

Thefts

  • A Craftsman tool set, a voltage meter, two Milwaukee quick connector tools were taken from an unsecured tool box located in the bed of a pickup truck parked on Schexnaydre Drive in Destrehan on April 29.
  • Subjects entered a storage shed and removed a black colored pressure washer as well as a black colored stereo system from a home on Brandon Hall Drive in Destrehan on April 30.
  • Subjects entered a Court Street residence in Luling and stole a Playstation 4 gaming system and controller on April 30.
  • Two tires were punctured on a vehicle parked on East Club Drive in St. Rose on April 30.
  • A gas-powered leaf blower was taken from the garage of a home located on Longview Drive in Destrehan on April 30.
  • A handgun was stolen from a vehicle parked on Ormond Meadows Drive in Destrehan on May 1.
  • The rear bumper of a vehicle stored at a residence located on LA 306 in Boutte was damaged by an unknown suspect on May 1.
  • Prescription notes for Xanax and Adderall medication were stolen from an unsecured vehicle parked on West B Street in Norco on May 1.
  • The cellphone of an employee of a Boutte IHOP was stolen from the restaurant’s reception counter on April 30.
  • The driver side rear window of a vehicle parked on St. Rose Avenue in St. Rose was shattered on May 3.
  • Three fishing poles totaling approximately $195 were stolen from the back porch of a residence located on Lac Penchant Drive in Luling on May 3.
  • A white female was observed stealing telephone chargers valued at a total of $283 from an EXXON store in Boutte on May 3.
  • A license plate was taken from a vehicle parked on Oak Street in St. Rose on May 3.
  • An attempted burglary occurred at a home located on Eisenhower Street in St. Rose on May 3.
  • A window was broken at a home located on Carriage Lane in Destrehan on May 2.
