Arrests

• Isaac Kenneth, 45, of 1016 Paul Fredrick St., Luling, was arrested and charged with simple robbery at the above address on July 12. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following the subject approached a 42 year-old female demanding $20. The victim refused at which time Isaac allegedly grabbed the victim’s shirt and punched her several times with a closed fist to her right upper cheek and head area. The victim was transported to St. Charles Hospital for her injuries.

• Kentrell Smith, 27, of 728 Mockingbird Ln., St. Rose, was arrested and charged with kidnappting second degree at LA 50, St. Rose, on July 11. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after allegedly kidnapping a 42 year-old Norco woman.

• Johnny A. Champagne III, 20, of 334 Mimosa Ave., Luling, was arrested and charged with theft over $500 at 13143 US 90, Boutte, on July 12. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after allegedly stealing $752.76 from his place of employment. Champagne would illegally process refunds and then keep the money.

Theft

• A trailer, valued at $3000, was reported stolen from 100 River Bend Blvd., St. Rose, on July 10.

• Two lawn mowers, valued at $250, were reported stolen from 15 Sellers St., Luling, on July 10.

• Assorted tools, valued at $270, was reported stolen from 110 Pine St., Boutte, on July 10.

• A lawn mower, valued at $150, was reported stolen from 155 Clement St., New Sarpy, on July 10.

• A cordless drill and a paint ball gun, valued at $160, was reported stolen from 14526 LA 48, New Sarpy, on July 10.

• Two generators and assorted tools, valued at $3681, was reported stolen from 100 River Bend Blvd., St. Rose, on July 10.

• A generator, valued at $5000, was reported stolen from 184 Riverbend Dr., St. Rose, on July 10.

• Various bags of chips, candy and drinks, valued together at $200, were reported stolen from 130 Manor Ln., Luling, on July 12.

• An extension ladder, valued at $150, was reported stolen from 15244 US 90, Paradis, on July 15.

•Assorted jewelry, assorted clothing and assorted computer equipment, valued at $2725, were reported stolen from 458 Boutte Estates Dr., Boutte, on July 15.

• A boys Mongoose bike, valued at $200, was reported stolen from 144 Norman Ln., Des Allemands, on July 15.

• Three chain saws, valued at $550, were reported stolen from 10405 US 61, St. Rose, on July 14.

• Six 700 amp/12 volt batteries and a vehicle spare tire and steel wheel, valued at $1400, was reported stolen from 134 South Kinler St., Boutte, on July 15.

• Assorted clothing and towels, valued at $150, was reported stolen from 16619 Old Spanish Trail, Des Allemands, on July 16.

• An amplifier and a subwoofer speaker, valued at $500, was reported stolen out of a vehicle at 149 Anna St., Ama, on July 16.

• A 2006 Kawasaki Motorcycle, valued at $9,000, was reported stolen from 369 Davis Dr., Luling, on July 16.

• Eight fishing rods and reel combos, valued at $400, were reported stolen from 451 Boutte Estates Dr., Boutte, on July 15.

• A tail gate, valued at $150, was reported stolen from 140 Villere Dr., Destrehan, on July 15.

• A 4-wheeler and a motorcycle, valued at $2,000, was reported stolen from 501 Paul Maillard Rd., Luling, on July 16.

• A 27’ TV, DVD player, TV stand and a 12 guage shot gun, valued at $690, were reported stolen from 153 Dianne Dr., St. Rose, on July 13.

DWI

• Justin Anderson, 21, of 617 Oak St., Norco, La., was arrested and charged with DWI, speeding, improper lane use and open container at LA 48 & 1st St., New Sarpy, on July 17.

• Jose Banegas, 42, of Cherry Hill Ave., Baton Rouge, was arrested and charged with DWI, improper lane use, no DL, open container and illegal alien at I-10 West Bound on July 16.
