Arrests
• Lakeisha Pratt, 30, of 347 Good Children St., Boutte, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery at the above address on June 30. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following an altercation with her live-in boyfriend. During the altercation the subject allegedly struck the victim on t he eye with the antenna of a phone.
• Erin Donnelly, 41, of 116 Johnny Ct., LaPlace, was arrested and charged with poss. with intent to dist. a SCH III CDS to wit hydrocodone and open alcoholic container in vehicle at Hollywood Pk., Montz, on July 2. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after being stopped for a traffic violation to which he was the passenger in the car. Further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of Hydrocodone and an open container inside the vehicle.
• Troit Simmons, 36, of 116 Simmons Ln., Boutte, was arrested and charged with att. first degree murder at LA 18 & St. Charles Blvd., Luling, on July 1. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following an altercation with his live-in girlfriend. The victim who was transported to St. Charles Parish Hospital for her injuries sustained multiple fractured ribs, head injuries and abdomen injuries and internal bleeding. Simmons is being held on a $500,000 bond set by Judge St. Pierre.
• John Washington, 39, of 408 Homewood Dr., LaPlace, was arrested and charged with poss. of SCH II crack cocaine, fugitive from St. John and a fugitive from Jefferson Parish at Hwy. 90, Luling, on July 3. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after being stopped for suspicious person. Further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of crack cocaine and wanted out of St. John and Jefferson Parishes.
• Frederick Conley, 21, of 56140 Bickham Chapel Rd., Amite, was arrested and charged with poss. with intent to dist. a SCH II CDS to wit crack cocaine, poss. of a SCH II CDS to wit cocaine, poss. of a firearm while in poss. of a CDS, speeding and expired license plate, and no DL at US 61 and Prescott Rd., Montz, on July 1.
• Christopher Bellazer, 20, of 13184 Velma Rd., Independence, was arrested and charged with poss. of a SCH II CDS to wit crack cocaine, poss. of a SCH II CDS to wit cocaine, and an attachment from the SCSO at US 61 and Prescott Rd., Montz. on July 1. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subjects were stopped for a traffic violation. Further investigation revealed the subjects to be in poss. of a gun and cocaine.
• Edwin Wood, 56, of 1621 Overbrook Dr., Millbrook, Al., was arrested and charged with theft over $500 and issuing worthless checks at River Rd., Hahnville, on July 5. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on warrants that were issued in February-June 2005 for the above charges. Wood wrote several checks which were all returned either NSF or account closed.
• Noah Wiltz, 56, of 44 Devereaux Dr., Destrehan, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and simple battery at the above address on July 9. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following an altercation with his wife. During the altercation the subject allegedly pushed her several times in the head and threatened the kill her.
• Name being withheld to protect victim, 41, of Norco, was arrested the charged with aggravated rape after the subject allegedly inappropriately fondled his five year old daughter in July and October of 2005. The subject was arrested on a warrant.
DWI
• Cecil Jacobs, 55, of 14655 LA 631, Paradis, was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless operation, suspended DL, switched license plate and SCSO attachment at LA 631 & 2nd St. on July 3.
• Jason Kendrick, 47, of 405 E. 24th St., Reserve, was arrested and charged with DWI and reckless operation at I-10 Eastbound on July 4.
• Angela Woods, 31, of 6411 Congress Dr., New Orleans, was arrested and charged with DWI and careless operation at LA 48 westbound @ Lawson, New Sarpy, on July 1.
• Ralph McKinney, 47, of 2301 Curtis Dr., Deltona, Fl., was arrested and charged with DWI and careless operation at US 61 @ Swipi, Norco, on July 7.
• Jeremy St. Romain, 18, of 5501 Loraine St., Metairie, was arrested and charged with underage driving under the influence and careless operation of a motor vehicle at I-10 Westbound on July 7.
Theft
• Assorted fishing rods and reels and a GPS system, valued at $1690, was reported stolen from 14 Palmer Dr., Luling, on June 30.
• A leather wallet containing money and ID papers, valued at $325, was reported stolen from 10389 Airline Hwy., St. Rose, on July 2.
• A CD player/radio, valued at $300, was reported stolen from 196 Adam St., Killona, on July 3.
• A 2005 Bobcat, valued at $48,000, was reported stolen from 224 Rue Landry, St. Rose, on July 2.
• A 12” Mongoose Bike, valued at $100, was reported stolen from 204 Ellington St., Luling, on July 3.
• A castle SpaceWalk, valued at $1500, was reported stolen from 300 River Oaks Dr., Destrehan, on July 1.
• A flip cell phone and $25 dollars, valued at $125, was reported stolen from 14841 US 90, Paradis, on July 1.
• A flip cell phone, valued at $250, was reported stolen from 17000 LA 18, Taft, on June 30.
• A 1997 Saturn, valued at $2500, was reported stolen from 323 West Hoover St., New Sarpy, on July 5.
• A 1997 Chevrolet Silverado, valued at $9,000, was reported stolen from 73 Carriage Ln., Destrehan, on July 5.
• A cell phone, $170, a check book, and misc. credit cards were reported stolen from 100 James Dr., St. Rose, on July 6.
• 70 cows were reported stolen from LA 306 @ Texaco, Bayou Gauche, on July 7.
• Two Mongoose bikes, valued at $200, were reported stolen from 100 River Oaks Dr., Destrehan, on July 7.
• A bike, valued at $500, was reported stolen from 428 Ellen St., Ama, on July 8.
• A 1998 Chevy S-10, valued at $2500, was reported stolen from 15723 US 61, Norco, on July 8.
• A 2000 Honda Racher, valued at $5000, was reported stolen from 10503 LA 18, Ama, on July 9.
• A diamond ring, a graduation ring, and a gold watch, valued at $2200, was reported stolen from 310 River Oaks Dr., Destrehan, on July 9.
