Arrests

•Arthur Hinson, Jr., 58, of 106 Aqueduct Drive in Montz was arrested on April 26 and charged with two counts of cruelty to animals, six counts of not providing animals with a rabies vaccine, four counts of not having a breeder registration, failing to procure a pitt bull registration, two counts of having dogs on tethers and driving without a license.

•Biff A. Troxler, 54, was arrested on April 25 and charged with DWI and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

•Sidney F. Gassen, III, 49, was arrested on May 1 and charged with DWI and open container.

•Catherine D. Mitchell, 46, was arrested on May 1 and charged with aggravated battery.

•Donald Guidry, 54, of 4702 Levee Lane in Baker was arrested on May 7 and charged with D.W.I.

•James Ryan, 52, of 18764 W. Main St. in Galliano was arrested on May 4 and charged with D.W.I., hit and run, reckless operation and not having vehicle registration.

•Melvin Rios, 40, of 4829 Yale St. in Metairie was arrested on May 6 and charged with D.W.I., illegal alien operating a motor vehicle and having an open container.

•Joseph Delay, 40, of 1229 Robinson Ave. in Marrero was arrested on May 6 and charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling.

•Shawn P. Griffen, 35, of 120 Rocksprings School Road in Honea Path, S.C. was arrested on May 5 and charged with second degree battery.

•David Becnel, 48, of 199 Vicknair Lane in Montz was arrested on May 6 and charged with aggravated battery.

•Alfred Mott Jr., 46, of 9023 Old Gentilly Road in New Orleans was arrested on May 8 and charged with simple burglary of a religious building, simple assault and the possession of tools for a crime.

Thefts

•An electrical panel, an exterior cable box, wood kitchen cabinets, a dryer, an air conditioning unit, a stove, ceiling fans, a refrigerator and a washing machine worth $6,350 were stolen from 119 East Luling Street in Luling on May 2.

•A hydraulic jack, a tool box and tools were stolen from a vehicle parked at 515 Estay Lane in Paradis May 3.

•Copper electrical wire worth $50 was stolen from 452 Barber Road in Paradis May 3.

•A cell phone, purse worth $800 were stolen from a vehicle located at 12807 US 90 in Luling on May 3.

•Assorted tools were stolen from 172 Kenner Lane in Montz on April 30.

•Three pocket knives were stolen out of a vehicle at 208 Albania Drive in Luling on April 27.

•Two power cords, assorted welding and ground cables, a five gallon bucket, assorted ballast wiring and assorted copper wiring were stolen from 5677 Aries Street in Hahnville on April 27.

•A revolver and a rifle were stolen from 296 Whitley Road in Des Allemands on April 28.

•A TV, PlayStation 3, laptop and a pack of cigarettes were stolen from 10628 B LA 18 in Ama on April 29.

•An iPhone was stolen from 546 Barber Road in Paradis on April 29.

•A 2007 Pontiac was stolen from 204 E. Club Drive in St. Rose on April 25.

•Twenty steel pedalsters were stolen from Pitt Road at I-310 in Boutte on April 25.

•A PlayStation 3 was stolen from 326 Goodchildren Street in Boutte on April 25.

•A cypress tree and maple tree were stolen from 16004 River Road in Norco on April 24.

•Speakers were stolen out of a vehicle at 158 Julia Street in Hahnville on April 25.

•A CD player, amps and speakers were stolen out of a vehicle at 172 Keller Street in Hahnville on April 25.

•Two vehicle fog lights were stolen from 100 Lance Lane in Luling on April 25.

•An iPhone and case were stolen from 200 Tiger Drive in Boutte on April 24.

•Assorted food and beer was stolen from 12 Horseshoe Lane in St. Rose on April 24.

•A CD/DVD/Radio was stolen out of a vehicle at 146 Julia Street in Hahnville on April 25.

•A 2003 Honda Accord was stolen from 384 Longview Drive in Destrehan on April 25.

•A generator was stolen from 16789 LA 631 in Des Allemands on May 1.
