Marian Mae Champagne Zeringue, 84, was entrusted to God’s loving care on Feb. 20, 2011 in Luling. She was a resident of Luling and lifelong parishioner at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Luling.
She is survived by her sons, Gary Zeringue (wife Pam) and Gerald Zeringue (wife Susi), daughters, Sylvia Gaubert (husband Jim) and Angie Friloux (husband Kevin), an honorary daughter, Pauline Halder, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murphy Louis Zeringue, parents, Xavier Champagne and Jeanne Ledet Champagne, a daughter, Jeanne Hand, sisters, Agatha Schexnayder, Amelie Madere and Celeste Hendricks; and brothers, Laurent, Cevien, Edgar, Leon, Camille, Jean, Joseph and Carroll Champagne.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Feb. 22 at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Luling with burial following at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling. Falgout Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
