Doris Dempster Trahan, 76, a native and resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 12.
Visitation was held at St. Gertrude Catholic Church on Wednesday, Jan. 15. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated with burial following in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Bradley Trahan; sons, Shawn Trahan, Shane Trahan; daughter, Sharlene Trahan; brothers, Mitchel Dempster, Simon Dempster, Landry Dempster and Nolan Dempster; sisters, Ethel Sposito, Dolores Chaisson and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Felicien Dempster; mother, Clara Plaisance Dempster; brothers, John Dempster, Melien Dempster and Dennis Dempster; sisters, Velma Cortez and Thelma Tregla.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
