Peggy Sanders Temple , 84, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 28 at St. Charles Parish Hospital in Luling.Temple was beloved wife of Lawrence E. Temple for the past 62 years; loving mother of Debra T. Bertrand (husband, Paul); devoted grandmother of Blaine Bertrand (wife, Jayne), Melissa Eitmann (husband, Daniel) and Lacey Esponge (husband, Blake), and great-grandmother of Corey, Paige, Emma and Brody Bertrand, Andrew and Jacob Eitmann and Ella Esponge.
She was daughter of the late Keith Sanders and Davey Leslie Sanders; sister of Edwin Sanders, Nan Walker and the late Emma Watson and Bill Sanders.
Temple was born on Nov. 20, 1932 in Warren, Ark., and a longtime resident of Hahnville. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Luling.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the doctors, ICU nurses and other staff members at St. Charles Parish Hospital and to family and friends for all their assistance and kindness during this difficult time.
