Lillian Arnold Schmill, 89, passed away Jan. 28 in Lafitte, La., surrounded by loving family.Schmill was the devoted wife of the late Thomas O. Schmill Sr.; loving mother of Linda S. Plaisance (husband, Harold) of Lafitte; Lovina S. Orgeron (husband, John) of Edmond, Okla., and the late Thomas O. Schmill Jr., Larry B. Schmill and Diana S. Loupe.
She was the beloved grandmother of Carl, Stacey, Karey, Larry, Derrick, Phillip, Nicole, Scott, Cade and Jeffrey; also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Schmill was born on Dec. 18, 1927 in Hamilton, Ill., and was a longtime resident of Boutte. The time that she was able to spend with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family and friends is what brought the most pleasure to Lillian. She will be sadly missed and will be forever in our hearts.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb., 27 at the Mausoleum located in St. Charles Cemetery, 1279 Paul Maillard Rd., Luling.
