Susan “Sue” Abate, 56, passed away on Feb. 16, 2011 at Oschner Hospital in Jefferson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Dubel, her mother, Carole Dias, and her father-in-law, Sam Abate. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Pete “PJ” Abate, mother-in-law, Mary Abate, son, Christian Johnson (wife Nicole), granddaughters, Alycia, Jenna and Tori Johnson, daughter, Tiffany Johnson, grandsons, Dylan and Galen, brother, Mark Dubel, and three sisters, Nancy Bales, Jan Marker and Carolyn Dubel.
