Joseph H. Schneider passed away on Dec. 31, 2008 at his home following a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Virginia Quinn Schneider; children, Sandy Arnold and her husband Ken of Luling, Barbara Schneider of Tucson, Ariz, Joseph R. Schneider and his wife, Sharon, of Chester, NJ; sisters, Eleanor Moran, Florence Sharp and Marge Hallas all of Illinois; seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Conrad Schneider and Amelia Coffman Schneider and three brothers, Raymond, Harold and Conrad. He was 86 years of age, a native of Troy Grove, Illinois, a resident of Luling, and a retiree of Union Carbide. He was also a member of Bible Center Church in Luling. The funeral and burial was on Saturday, Jan. 3. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Bible Center Missions Program, 422 Barton Avenue, Luling, LA 70070.
