Hilda Cheramie Orgeron, 94, passed away on Sunday, May 11.
She was a native of Houma and a long-time resident of Luling.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vicknair Orgeron; her father Edward Cheramie and her mother, Edna Pitre Cheramie.
She is survived by six children, Florence Daigle (husband Larry), Larry Orgeron (wife Sandra), Michael Orgeron (wife Beverly), Alida Dempster (husband Kendall), Evelyn Christen (husband Barry) and Milton Orgeron (wife Pam), 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at Holy Family Church on Wednesday, may 21. Visitation will be from 8 to 9 a.m. for family and 9 to 11 a.m. for all others followed by an 11 a.m. Mass. Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is handling the arrangements.
