Dorothy P. DeJean, 89, a native of Lockport and resident of Des Allemands passed away on Sept. 2.
Visitation will be held at St. Gertrude Catholic Church on Thursday, Sept. 8 from 9 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Dejean is survived by her sons, Gregory DeJean, Robert DeJean, Richard DeJean and Mark DeJean; daughter, Lorraine DeJean Faucheux; brothers, George Parr, Henry Parr; sister, Doris Parr Ledet; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy DeJean Sr.; parents, Jules and Odile Chaisson Parr; son, Percy Parr Jr., and sister, Mabel Parr Simoneaux.
