Visitation will be held at St. Gertrude Catholic Church 9 a.m. Sept. 2 until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at a later date.
Bergeron is survived by his wife of 47 years, Susan B. Bergeron; daughter, Julie Bergeron Hartman (John Avery); grandchildren, Autumn B. Hartman and Benjamin Bergeron who he raised as his son; brother, Paul Bergeron; sisters, Nancy Hebert (Alvin “Ko”), Beverly Stolsek (Fred), Phyllis McCracken (Rick); sister-in-law, Patricia B. Holland; faithful companion, Minnie.
He was preceded in death by his son, Richard J. “Ricky” Bergeron (Carla); father, Arthur Bergeron; mother, Isabelle Lunk; stepfather, Joseph Lunk; brother, Robert “Bobby” Bergeron, Sr.
