Allan ”Buddy” Chauvin, Jr. passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 8:45pm in Metairie, LA. Husband of Joyce Griffin Chauvin. Son of the late Allan and Marjorie Chauvin. Father of Rhonda and husband Michael George and the late Randy Chauvin. Brother of Arlene Daigle, Carolyn Webre, and Ronald Chauvin. Grandfather of Travis McWilliams, Brandi, Brandon, Victorialyn, and Heidi Chauvin and Dustin Bourg. Great grandfather of Ian Chauvin and Dustin Bourg, Jr. Age 66, a resident of Norco, LA. Services were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on July 2 with Father Terry Hayden officiating. Alexander Funeral Home of Norco, LA in charge of arrangements.

WILLIAMS

Willie Williams, Jr., passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at West Jefferson Hospital , Marrero, LA. Son of the late Mary Sumler and Willie Williams, Sr. Husband of Patricia A. Williams. Father of Leonard Christopher, LaWanna Carles, and Bryan Charles Williams (Tanisha). Brother of Brenda Pierre, the late Bobby Sumler and Joyce Wilson. Also survived by one grandchild, Brayden C. Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Age 54 yrs. A native and resident of Boutte, LA. Special thanks to the Dialysis Staff of St Charles Hospital, Luling LA and Dr. V. N. Devarajan. Services were held at St Mary Baptist Church, 706 Paul Maillard Road, Luling, LA. , on Saturday, June 30, 2007. Rev. Renard Dabney, Pastor Officiating. WILSON

Ronald G. Wilson, Sr., age 57, entered into eternal rest at his home on June 24, 2007. He will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Betty Wilson; 5 children, Ronald Wilson, Jr., Anthony Wilson, Dionne (Robert) Robinson, Lisa Wilson, Michael (Christy) Wilson; 2 brothers, Percy (Barbara) Wilson, Richard Wilson; 4 grandchildren, Ashley Wilson, Anthony Wilson, Jr., Robert Robinson III, Destiny Robinson; 4 sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Bill) Morgan, Alice Jackson, Jennie Shorts, Barbara Shorts; 2 brothers-in-law, James (Carol) Shorts, Charles Shorts. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary (Marie) and Thomas Wilson. He was employed as an operator for Cytec Industries in Westwego, LA for over 34 years. Services were held on June 30, 2007 at Israelite Baptist Church, 2100 Martin Luther King Blvd. Pastor Kevin Shorts officiating. Final resting place will be Mount Pilgrim Cemetery in Ama, LA with ascending doves symbolizing the commending of the departing soul. Mauleen Brady Smith, age 60, entered into the presence of the Lord at her home on June 26, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Hearley Smith, Jr. Loving mother of Carla Antoine (Pastor Raney, Sr.), Derrick Smith, Sr. (Raynell) and Hearley Smith, V (Dana). Daughter of the late Leslie and Susie Jackson. Sister of Marion Eugene (Paul), Elouise Johnson (Joseph), Gwendolyn Chess (Roy), Harold Brady (Dorothy), Sheila Davis (Robert), Elder Elizabeth Gaddis (Kevin) and Joan Ellion. Grandmother of Hearley, VI, Raney, Stephen, Kailyn, Shailyn, Kavon, Kayla, Y’vonne, Mariah and Derrick, Jr. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mauleen attended L. B. Landry High School and was a member of Greater King Solomon Family Worship Center under the leadership of the late Pastor Ennis Antoine, Sr. Services were held June 29, 2007 at Mt. Annette E. Cojoe passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Ochsner Hospital in Jefferson, LA. Daughter of the late Willie Eugene, Jr., and Estelle Vinnett Jackson. Wife of the late Ernest O. Cojoe. Mother of Theron (Shawn) Cojoe and Steven Cojoe. Sister of Lois Eugene, Charles Eugene, and Curtis Eugene. Also survived by eight grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age 63 yrs. A native and resident of St. Rose, LA.
