Myra Anne Rousselle Fields was born to the late Wilbert Rousselle and Anna Gassen Rousselle, in Luling, Louisiana. She was married to the late William J. Fields for 58 years. Myra loved life and enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to all who knew her. Myra was a member of the choir in her church until her health precluded her from continuing. She showed love and a never-ending cheerfulness to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.
Myra went to be with the Lord in her home on October 2, 2019, with loved ones by her side, at the age of 88. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; William Joseph Fields; son-in-law, Eric Gaston; grandson, Ryan Gaston; grandson, Sean Delcambre; and great grandson Jude Delcambre.
Survivors include daughters; Debbie Fields Guidry, husband Wayne Guidry, Jan Fields Gaston, Lisa Fields Delcambre, husband David Delcambre; grandchildren, Wendi Taranto, Wayne Guidry Jr., Lacey Bordelon, Allie Guidry, Mindy Nash, Kristy Shrader, Maria Gaston, Michael Delcambre, Caitlin Karl; great grandchildren, Gianna Taranto, Gabriella Gaston, Luke Gaston, Mikayla Shrader, Olivia Shrader, Leah Shrader, Lillianne Delcambre, Eilie Delcambre and Lucia Delcambre.
Services will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling, Louisiana on October 5, 2019. Visitation will from 9:00 am until 11:00 am, followed by the Mass at 11:00 am. Burial will be at St. Charles Cemetery.
