Marlene Mary Elizabeth Picou, a resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the age of 79.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home, of Raceland, on Friday, August 6th from 9 am until service time. A funeral service will be held at 11 am with burial to follow in the Mennonite Cemetery, in Des Allemands.
Marlene is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward Picou; children, Mary Picou and William Picou; 2 grandchildren, Tyler Ledbetter (Cassey) and Cody Ledbetter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Durward and Lena Tapp.
Marlene was a member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program in St. Charles parish. She enjoyed cooking and helping others along with her husband at American Legion functions.
