Marie Latiolais Sander passed away in her home in Boutte on Aug. 2, 2015.
She was born in New Orleans on Aug. 28, 1930 and was a resident of the city for over 70 years.
Her beloved husband of 47 years was the late Paul Leslie Sander. Her parents were the late Lewis Walter Latiolais and Elise Kernion Latiolais.
Her four children are Michael (Nicole), Paulette Wilkinson (Raymond), Barbara Krohn (Russell), and Louis. She was a proud grandmother (Maw-Maw) and great-grandmother (Rie-Rie).
Her five grandchildren are Victoria Sander Eitmann, Jennifer Wilkinson Dudenhefer, Kathryn Elise Krohn, Allison Sander Gertsner, and Leslie Christine Sander.
Her three great grandchildren are Evan, Erin, and Eric Dudenhefer. Her brother is Rene’ Latiolais of Newnan, Ga. and her sister is Judy Rabalais of Breaux Bridge.The family would like to thank her two caregivers Gwen and Mary and the staff of Hospice and Associates, particularly Claudia and Josetta.
Funeral mass will be held in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans on Aug. 7.
Visitation will be held until service time. Interment follows at St. Roch Cemetery No.1.
